What does a Postpartum Doula do?

Home Care

This can include dishes, laundry, meal prep, and light cleaning.

Newborn Care

This can include swaddling, feeding, calming measures, and general information.

Recovery

With a Doula to assist you postpartum, you can focus on your new baby and your recovery.

Why a Postpartum Doula?

The Postpartum period is a wonderful time for your family, where you can bond with your new baby. This time also includes a transition, as recovering from labor and taking care of a newborn can throw well-established routines out of whack. I can assist you during this time and fill the gaps that might occur. I know about newborn care, physical recovery, signs of postpartum mood disorders, and more!
